About The Trainer
Camila Barrionuevo
Background
Camila Barrionuevo is the head trainer and owner of Key To Happy Dogs and her goal is to help dog owners truly understand their dog and the reasons behind their behavior. Camila graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor in Psychology and with that, she has a devotion to helping people. Since she has always had a strong passion for animals, after obtaining her degree from FAU, she decided to focus her career on dog psychology. She has taken many workshops and courses from some of the greatest dog trainers in the country and around the world.
Experience
Our head trainer has a lot of experience handling dogs from working in different kennels throughout many years. She had the amazing opportunity to be taught by Cesar Millan, The Dog Whisperer, through a workshop called “Training Cesar’s Way: Fundamentals of Dog Behavior and Training I” in November 2014 at Cesar Millan’s Dog Psychology Center. She was then chosen to be a volunteer for Cesar Millan’s Fundamental courses in November 2015 and January 2016 and has also volunteered at all the “Training Cesar’s Way Clinics” held in Florida from 2014-2016. She has additionally acquired a lot of knowledge and experience learning from many other well-known trainers through shadow opportunities and workshops. Through these enriching experiences, she has gained a tremendous understanding of dog psychology and is spreading that knowledge to all dog owners!
